BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN - MAGIC – After hearing this, it's hard not to wish that Bruce would record this way all the time. No hillbilly Pete Seger sessions here, this is the E-STREET BAND. (13.) MILES DAVIS – THE COMPLETE ON THE CORNER SESSIONS - The music on this album influenced every single thing that came after it in jazz, rock, soul, funk, hip-hop, electronic and dance music, ambient music, and even popular world music, directly or indirectly. SLOAN - NEVER HEAR THE END OF IT – This cd has some of the eclecticism of The White Album, yet it flows like Rundgren's deliberate head trip, A Wizard, a True Star. (2.) QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE - ERA VULGARIS - One of the best rock & roll records released in 2007 — and the year sure needed the dose of thunder that this album provides. (3.) NINE INCH NAILS - THE YEAR ZERO - Year Zero is the finest Nine Inch Nails recording since Downward Spiral. (4.) THE FOO FIGHTERS - ECHOES, SILENCE, PATIENCE & GRACE - A 12-track milestone that showcases and reconciles the band's every strength and sensibility in the most complex and confident Foo Fighters album to date. (5.) KINGS OF LEON - BECAUSE OF THE TIMES - If Alan Parsons lent the Allman Brothers his spaceship, Because of the Times would be the resulting space odyssey. (6.) IAN HUNTER - SHRUNKEN HEADS - Ian Hunter has always been a true rock & roll believer. And it's what makes him still capable of delivering an album this timely, this fearless, and this good. (7.) Now to my picks for NFL Week 11. Instead of the obvious will not pick against teams, the Patriots, Colts & Steelers. I Will Not pick Arizona over Cincy at Cincy, as much as I’d like to. I usually Never pick the Cardinals on the road or pick against the Bengals at Home. I’m also taking the Bengals with the points, no matter what the spread is. I also absolutely Will Not pick the 49ers over the Rams right now, especially with Trent Dilfer at quarterback. However, I am picking GREEN BAY over Carolina 30 - 13 as my Bonus-Lock instead, also covering the point spread as the Home Favorite.

Is this finally gonna be ‘TRAP’ game Sunday in the NFL? Are the Denver Broncos really gonna lose their 6th game this week? Will the Eagles also actually lose their 6th? Are the Dolphins and Rams actually gonna go 0 – 16 this season? I was even hesitating picking both of their games this week. They have to win a game eventually, don’t they? Are the Panthers finally gonna win a game at Home? They’ve lost their last 5 home games by a combined score of 149-51. Will the the Packers & Cowboys really win their 8th game already and the Lions & Titans actually win their 7th? Will the Bengals really lose their 7th? Something’s gotta give! Now to my Picks for NFL Week 10. My Bonus-LOCK this week is the CAROLINA PANTHERS over the Atlanta Falcons 23 - 16. In my 50 - 50 games I’ll take Pittsburgh over Cleveland 24 – 20. Yes, I do believe this is a fifty – fifty game, even at Pittsburgh. The Browns are a much better team now than when they first played the Steelers. I’ll also take the GIANTS over Dallas 34 – 30 as my other 50 – 50 toss up for this week, with the GIANTS covering the +1 spread, obviously. My Bonus 50 -50 is the KC Chiefs over Denver 27 – 24. My Fake – Out for NFL Week 10 is ARIZONA over Detroit 26 -23. I’ll also take the Cardinals with the points in this one, whatever, the point spread is. My Bonus-Fake-Out is JACKSONVILLE over Tennessee 19 – 16
